TV on the Radio - Nine Types of Light

I saw the premier of the TV on the Radio movie they made to accompany their album last night thanks to Gilt Groupe and it was awesome. also had the chance to chat with the band following the premier, basically they gave 9 different directors creative latitude to do a video for one of the songs, and tied them together with a loose narration. very very cool stuff, it's streaming on the youtube today. definitely worth 30 minutes of your time.

and on top of that you can’t sing worth a damn.

I can't tell you how much I hate Pitchfork's video player but this video is awesome. Not sure if anyone else is on the Starslinger tip but either way you should check this video. According to my coworker I LOLed "like a girl" while watching it.

I saw this video a couple of months (years?) ago, somewhere (on GB's?), and was super pleased with the Randy Jordan rage levels. It turns out this kid pranked his dad in the same way 3 years in a row. The video gets progressively less funny and more sad. So if your in the mood to laugh just check out the first part but if it gets you hooked, keep on going.

Remember the days of street hockey!?!?! I found myself day dreaming of playing a huge game of street hockey behind Harper school! Hockey nets on top of cars, possibly a hot tub at Hootie's old place to heal our wounds after the game. From now on, if anyone gets married, there has to be a street hockey game involved at the bachelor party (triple stamped and in the mail)!
