who would you rather do, madona or maynard?

so i definately feel like i have the intelligence of an 8th grader now after being back to school for a couple weeks, but heres a good story as of my time thus far back here. so this weekend i went to visit laura in beaver creek, she was there with her family. and saturday night, her old man took her fam and my buddies out to eat (i went up with simons and ari-for those of you who met him on your trip out here). anyhow, old man neuckranz told us all not to be bashful and pick whatever we wanted-it was a steak house. well, i really called his bluff-but not deliberately. in typical fashion, i accidentally picked the kobe steak, which just so happened to cost $56 and be the most expensive steak there. it really wasnt my fault though, it was on the butcher's selections, and the price was angled away from me, i couldn't see it-it was a place where you cooked your own steaks and picked em from a deli style display glass. well, before i could say anything, they had already cut the plastic holding open, and it was bought. i felt like a total asshole. long story short, laura and i got into this bickering match, which led to a fight, which led to us breaking up. it was quite disaterous a weekend. anyhow, the moral of the story is dont get a $56 steak on your girl friend's dad's tab, it doesn't have great results-aside from the meal.

-and on that note, the new album is called 10,000 days, dont really know what that means aside from it sounds awfully similar to disturb's 10,000 fists-kinda weak, also, the drummer said that the album was bluesie, not sure what that means either, but that could be total fuckin bullshit and he could have just been fuckin around with an interveiwer. till coachella
