Liked this book in high school, back when books were books and real men dressed the part on Freaky Fridays. It looks as if Sean Penn has avoided completely fucking it up.

Great book, why is Vince Vaughn in this film?
I think this is all a big, heaping sack of bullshit. Krakauer is a better story teller than Sean Penn and his uber-liberal babble. Chris McCandless was a crazy, undefinable man and this movie won't do him justice.
