PJ headlines Jazz Fest on Saturday, May 1, in New Orleans. The lineup for the second weekend also includes Elvis Costello, plus some group calling themselves the Inspirational Souls of Chicago (which I have Kajfez-style fascination about).
Also worth the Southwest flight: Band-o-Horses, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Darius Rucker. Plus like a gazillion others.

all extra room in my sleeping bag is currently being occupied by 1000 mosquitos, which is to say our shooting weeks leave only tuesdays (and sometimes mondays) free. so jazz fest is a no go for me, but i could likely hook anyone up with free digs and maybe a night of my fabulous company, should you choose to venture. that said, we wrap mid-june, and after that i am once again ructis mctuctis fresh n fruity, so maybe a voyage then (too)?
