My Newest Obsession

I didn't make a New Years a resolution this year (except my usual promise involving a one Adam Edelstein, do parents read this by the way?) but being more active on this guy seems like an alright goal. YOU should too DIABOBBY and ROSECRANS.
So my ongoing band jams have been Big Star. They are just great. Plastic will agree. Do you like them?
Prime Examples:

These guys released their first two albums (they only made 3) on 1 cd. You'd be a real PJ Tyska Tug Borre if you didn't go and borrow this from your library next time your browsing.
(The Wilmette Library doesn't have it)

Alex Chilton, the lead songwriter (who's real name is William Alexander Chilton fyFUCKINGi) did this first

Later on he'd release shit like this, post Big Star.

You gotta love the music evolution.

Salright, got to get a hot linx sandwich at RORO.

I'm a big Tool.

(mr sun is certainly doing his job today in Seattle!)

on the topic of glammish-rock, this new band the Smith Westerns has a great sound and they're touring around right now. Check em out on grooveshark. New album is called dye it blonde.
