Oooh Jimmie...or the Future of GB

Part 1

As the leading NASCAR blogger on Gryll's Basement it is my place to officially announce Jimmie Johnson as the 2009 Sprint Cup champion. Winning one Sprint Cup is hard enough but Johnson has made history yet again by making this his 4th consecutive title. This is equivalent to the the Yankees, Cowboys, Bulls and Celtics dynasties of the past. So I'd like to say "Hear Hear" and toast Jimmie Johnson. Tonight everyone should drink a brick of Keystone light, buy some tools at Lowe's and get arrested for a domestic disturbance.


Part 2

I know many of you were expecting a full on update of Gilberto Archer's future...sadly I have mislead you (that would make a great story though, Zachly). Many of you have embraced Twitter for its great link sharing and micro-blogging capabilities, many of you I'm sure have shunned it because you don't understand it. The question I ask is "does a live Twitter feed of the Gryll's Basement members tweets have a place here?" I believe it does. You know when you have a link, video or some content that is worth sharing but not amazing? A live Twitter feed would solve those guilt issues of making a crappy post. You know when you're wondering what Klatt is doing right now? Oh @dnklatt just posted an update. Now I know that he is singlehandely organizing the Olympic games. The list goes on and on. So I encourage, nay implore the adminstrators of this blog to look into a Twitter Widget for Gryll's Basement, in the words of Zach Novak "You can't go forward while looking back."
