the article is a little bleh, but the point it makes is a completely true one - the music scene here is so fucking awesome right now. one of these days i'll get around to posting links to a bunch of smaller local bands that are really legit and you should give a listen to.
Zing! Pretty sure our blog is officially cooler for having this video posted. Also, there's a 'Brooklyn Top 40' list in the NYMag article that gives a pretty solid rundown.

I guess that's the payoff to living with a bunch of people who think they're artistic. Some of them actually are.
