Getting Tea-Bagged Can Leave You With A Mouthful

So I got tea-bagged yesterday. It was a nice surprise when my boss told me to take the afternoon off and head to the hill for a briefing on energy efficiency in rural areas. So I put my suit on and moseyed down Pennsylvania ave all the way to the big house. But as I approached, the crowd turned angrier. Signs were popping up here and there, getting progressively crazier, and then, without realizing it, I was in the middle of a bone-i-fied Tea Party. Needless to say, they knew I wasn't there for the party. "Kill the Bill", "Don't believe their Lies", "Obama's a Marxist", "I want my country back", "live free or die", oh man, the list goes on. None really directed AT me, as I kept my head down and my lips tight. There were little kids with their moms who took them out of school, cute grannies with nooses around their necks, oh man and all sorts of different colored sweatsuits, and all sorts of Glenn Beck loving, government hating, white as day AMERICANS.

I had to get into the Rayburn House Office but there were 200-300 people in line to go speak their mind. This is when I started getting angry, very angry. I wanted to match their anger and yell something. Their level of ignorance and understanding of matters at hand, be it health care , cap'n trade, or bailouts was astounding. Don't they understand all this is meant to help people? What liberties is the government infringing upon exactly? What are you so afraid of? What DO you want?

Anyway, I kept my cool, an angry face, and stowed away my liberal sentiments for another day. Eventually I found a side entrance with a shorter line, proving that those assholes are the sheep, not me.
