Well, I found out it's closed.
I'm pretty bummed.
Gone are the days of getting high and parusing through their indie rock section. Gone is another reason to get out of the house and go somewhere with friends.
- Where's Gryll going to get more posters to put in his basement?
- Are the days of looking through CD stacks over?
- Where is Mike going to finally trade in his complete Collective Soul catalogue?
- Where is Bobby going to find the newest Jam bands?
- Where is Sherman going to buy more Dispatch?
- Where is Zach going to make an ass out of himself?
- Where are Andy and Ross going to buy their newfangled Rap Discs?
- Where is Galleon's Lap/Chesten Mayfield going to sell 48Hrs? (More importantly, when is the band getting back together?)
Can't live in the past, I mean iTunes is going to get awesome once they start selling porn...but what about that guy behind the counter who stood twenty feet above you both physically, and pretentiously?
I guess vinyl collecting is making a comeback. But don't let your Mom get rid of those "Mike" CD booklets full of gold, the laws of Trend mean CD's will be back. If they don't disintegrate first.
RIP Dr. Wax on Sherman. I blew a lot of lunch money at your store.
At least the Dr. beat out Tower.
